Assisi Catholic College Solar Installation

Assisi Catholic College on Queensland’s Gold Coast had a 100kW solar system that had failed, presented safety issues and required removal. Calibre Diona were engaged to decommission and remove the failed system and replace with a new 200kW roof top solar installation.
The replacement system was designed to match the peak load of the school campus, allowing for significant air conditioning upgrades to be undertaken. A 200kW solar system was installed using Tier 1, Canadian Solar panels with Solar Edge inverters. All panels were optimised with Solar Edge invertor monitoring utilised.
Inverters were installed remote to building requiring installation of inground conduit and associated works for connection from panels to inverter location.
In addition to the scope of works, a dilapidation report on the roof was completed and repairs undertaken to ensure the integrity of the roof.
