Canberra Grammar Geothermal Installation

It is chilly in the nations capital today, but under the ground at Canberra Grammar School, our latest geothermal project, the temperature remains a constant 18°C.

Geothermal systems use the earth as a heat source in the winter and a heat storage source in the summer, providing extremely efficient heating and cooling all year long in virtually any climate.

The Calibre Diona team are currently drilling 84 geothermal loops for a 640kW system that will air condition a new 1400-seat underground auditorium and music centre. The architecturally designed centre will breathe new life and new learnings about renewable energy into the prestigious 92yo private school.
