Collaboration in Construction - Siena College Geothermal

Diona executives Rhonda McSweeney and Richard Willis were on site this week inspecting the geothermal air conditioning installation at Siena College. Fourteen geothermal loops are being installed over the summer break. At completion, the 140kW geothermal system will provide air conditioning to the administration building and wellness centre. As part of the school's forward-thinking sustainability program, the College’s use of geothermal technology will not only see a reduction in the school’s carbon footprint and rising energy bills but will also inspire their environmentally conscious students.

Ms McSweeney believes collaboration in construction is fundamental in delivering high efficiency renewable energy solutions. “I’m very excited to be on-site today to witness Calibre and Diona working together to install geothermal air conditioning. This system will offer energy savings of up to 60% which is quite a compelling commercial solution.”
