Diona are pleased to celebrate five years partnering with batyr and generating $1,000,000 of support over that time through fundraising, sponsorship, volunteering and in-kind support for the amazing work they are doing for youth mental health. batyr’s mission is to empower young people to seek help when they need it and raise awareness to help smash the stigma around mental health!

Diona’s Board Chair, David O’Connor who began this partnership with batyr in 2015 said, “I’m so proud and grateful that we have been able to take a powerful idea and through the efforts of many people, do what we said. I’m excited by the positive change both organisations will continue to make to each other as we now plan for the future…. watch this space!”

Celebrating the 5-year partnership – batyr Blue Tie Ball Virtual Homecoming

Each year our employees look forward to the annual Blue Tie Ball, batyr’s signature fundraising event of the year. Due to COVID-19, the event had to be postponed, and a new virtual event was born – enter the Blue Tie Ball Virtual Homecoming. Held on Saturday October 31, Diona households were invited to bring together their nearest and dearest (in line with local restrictions) to enjoy the virtual event, live from the comfort of their homes.
