Diona deliver: work on the 42 inch Colongra Lateral Pipeline

The Colongra Lateral Pipeline was one of the biggest successes for Diona. Valued at over $21 million, this project put Diona in headlines.

This project involved the installation of nine kilometres of 1057mm diameter pipe with wall thicknesses of between 24mm and 33mm. Constructed of X70 high carbon steel, this pipeline is the largest diameter storage vessel pipeline constructed in Australia. Many of the components and materials required outsourcing from America, Europe and Asia due to the limited resources available in Australia.
